🚘🥾🎒/👶🧒💦🌳🚜🚌🐶

📏 Less than 1.5 miles

This spectacular set of falls in the small village of West Burton in Wensleydale is one of our absolute favourites. Not only is the circular walk a short one, but you can walk here with a pushchair for a super short walk for the youngest of explorers. It has a pub, a small play area, places to spot farm animals, spots to pick blackberries and is an epic paddle spot in the Summer.

Yordas Cave

📍 Kingsdale, just up from Ingleton, Yorkshire Dales (South)

⭐ Little Monkeys

🚘🥾💦🎒✨🌳👻🐶

📏 Less than 1 mile

This is a fab little introduction for little ones to exploring a bit of a wild cave…. As an ex Victorian show cave, the cavern is easy to access, requires no squeezing or crawling, and all you need is a pair of good wellies and a powerful torch. And with this one, you can absolutely get away with saying it’s not a walk it’s an adventure, because if you explore to the back of the cave, you’ll find the Chapter House waterfall too!

Bear in mind that the beck running through the cave will flood after prolonged rainfall. Save your visit for another day in these circumstances as you won’t be going anywhere!

At the bottom, you’ll find a stunning waterfall, with perfect sized paddling pool underneath it! Plus, it’s just a stone’s throw from Settle.

Bear in mind that the path down to the waterfall is steep and there are unguarded drops on this walk.
