If you have an area in mind, or perhaps you are visiting, choose a location and check out all the family friendly walks that we have in the area! For our Yorkshire Dales National Park walks, you will find that they have been split into sections, so you can focus in on where you are staying or visiting.

Each walk has a handy guide, so you can easily figure out whether it’s bite-sized for younger walkers, or whether it presents more of a challenge and is perhaps suitable for more steady, experienced or older explorers. There is a star rating up to 3, but make sure you do your own research, because you know your kids’ limits and every child is different.

In each walk, you’ll find out what all the best bits are for the kids, what they’ll REALLY enjoy (whilst you admire the views!) whether that be somewhere to paddle, places to collect blackberries, conkers or pine cones, or maybe even a place to feed the ducks, or learn about to super cool facts, weird or quirky history or a spooky story about the area

So take a look, our walks cover more or less all of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the outlying towns and villages!

AND, it’s always growing and ever changing. I add to the website if we find a new walk that the kids will love, so make sure to keep checking back!
