Christmas Tractor Runs 2025

The Yorkshire Dales

This is the place to find all the details about the Festive Tractor Runs taking place in and around the Yorkshire Dales, including dates, time estimates and route information.

Tractors and Christmas.

NOW you’re talking! Yes, it’s become pretty popular in the last few years for farmers to festoon their usually entirely practical work vehicles with an absolute explosion of festive lights, twinkling decorations with what is basically the visual representation of if Christmas threw up all over a tractor. If you’re lucky, they may even have their own soundtrack.

AND WE ARE TOTALLY HERE FOR IT! Yes. As the parent of a tractor lover, this is the most epic of trends.

You’ll have noticed more and more have been popping up all over the country in recent years, and the Yorkshire Dales is no exception.

Typically used to raise money for some exceptionally good causes, these tractor runs will have the streets lined with (extremely noisy) onlookers, soaking up the rural Christmas spirit.

So I thought I’d dedicate a whole page to ‘em.

You’ll find details of the routes, dates, times and links to the social media pages for real-time updates. I’ve also included links to the various fundraising pages where possible.

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my website and for reading this now!

I set up the Reluctant Explorers and maintain the website and attached social media accounts in my spare time, around mum-life and two jobs. It was designed to provide access for parents to free resources to help get more families outside and exploring in nature. These walks have all been created by myself and the kids and we have walked each one ourselves (and re-walk them regularly to keep the information as up to date as we can).

If you would like to support us and can afford a few pennies, you can make a donation to our ‘Buy Me a Coffee’ page. Simply tap the button below to head there!
