Short and Easy Walks for Kids
Short walks for kids in and around the Yorkshire Dales
Are you looking for walks under 2 miles for the kids (or for you, for that matter?)
Well you are in the right place! You have landed on the menu page for our Short and Easy Family Walks section. These walks are in and around the Yorkshire Dales and you’ll find walks in the National Park as well as in the outlying towns and villages.
This menu page has become necessary because there are SO MANY WALKS under 2 miles on our website that there are just too many to fit one page! So we have divided them into rough areas; Those walks that are within the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Nidderdale National Landscape and in the outlying towns surrounding the National Park.
You might be surprised to know that these walks feature waterfalls, ruins, parks, pushchair friendly routes, woodland walks and more! I say HURRAH for short walks! They absolutely pack in the family friendly fun factor without having to walk for miles!
So go check them out!
